Outpatient Department

We ask you to consider the following points before visiting our outpatient department:

Our outpatient department clinic is exclusively an appointment outpatient department. An assessment is therefore only carried out after prior notification and appointment
Due to the large number of patients, we are only able to accept patients after prior assessment by a specialist in internal medicine, surgery, radiology, or ear, nose and throat diseases. Exceptions to this are referrals with an already established or highly suspected diagnosis (e.g. chronic viral hepatitis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, liver cancer (HCC), Wilson's disease, haemochromatosis, autoimmune hepatitis (AIH), primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC ), Nonalcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH))

Appointments can be made either in person or by telephone on Tel.: +43 (0)1 40400-47500 or 40400-47295 between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. or by email to

Please take your e-card, the referral to a specialist doctor or the outpatient card, ID and your results with you.

We always try to meet the appointments on time; nevertheless, there may be delays and postponements due to medical necessity. In addition, we will endeavor to meet your request for the doctor of your choice, but we ask for your understanding that this will not always be possible.
