Referral information

How do patients who are being cared for at the AKH get dietetic advice/nutritional therapy?

For dietary care in the AKH, inpatient or outpatient medical care must already have taken place in the AKH. A dietetic consultation is requested by means of a clinical order (KLAT) via AKIM. You can find brief instructions on how to do this on the intranet (Channels>AKIM>Get to know AKIM>Dietological Council). Please fill out all fields in the request mask as completely as possible. This ensures rapid processing and high-quality dietary care.

Where do dietetic consultations/nutrition therapies take place?

For outpatients, the dietetic consultations and nutritional therapy take place in the outpatient area of the referring clinic. For inpatients, the nutritional consultations and nutritional therapy take place on the respective ward.

Where can I find information material for my patients regarding nutrition?

Written ISO-certified documents provided by the nutritional advice team are handed out by the dieticians in the course of the dietetic consultation and, if necessary, individually adapted to the needs of the patient. If you have any questions about the brochures, please telephone the dietetics team.
